Big Ten Announces Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Watch List
Three 2025-26 NCAA Indoor Champions make list
ROSEMONT, lll. – The Big Ten Conference announced its 2026 Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Watch List on Thursday. Preseason honors were bestowed upon 18 student-athletes, eight of whom earned 2025-26 Indoor First Team All-American honors.
The list features three reigning NCAA Indoor Track & Field Champions. Oregon’s Aliyah McCormick claimed the 60m hurdles title with a personal best time of 7.86 seconds. Hana Moll claimed her third NCAA title in pole vault with a winning mark of 4.82m (15-9 ¾), which was a new meet record. Nebraska’s Axelina Johansson claimed the shot put crown with a mark of 19.55m (64-1 ¾). She also set the Indoor collegiate shot put record during the season with a throw of 19.72m (64-8 ½).
The 2026 Outdoor Track and Field season began March 6.
